Checklist

  • I am running on an up-to-date pypsa-usa environment. Update via conda env update -f envs/environment.yaml

The Issue

The working capacity was accidentally taken to represent e_initial for natural gas underground storage. This is incorrect and can result in situations where e_initial is less than e_min. If you have high enough import capacity, the model can correct this in the first timestep - sometimes masking this problem

Run a sector model of California, Washington, and Oregon
