Orientations in python and matlab do not match #21

For standard matlab orientation, we have to set our orientation to 4. This is not very nice for the tutorials, as it means that the different orientations are not interchangeable. At the same time, people are already using this software so we should not break all of their workflows by just changing the orientations. How should we proceed?

@MaisieD I think you have both matlab and python, right? Can you take a look at this?

In the end we'd need some kind of mapping of

Python Matlab
1 ?
2 ?
3 ?
4 1

etc.
