@LeMagnesium is this fixed now? |
Unfortunately, it can't be fixed as long as the user database was corrupted a long time ago, the passwords can't be restored as long as i don't have the backup now.... For the users who connect themself normally after this corruption, it should write again the password, for the others, their username can be stalked, at the time we did talk about that but didn't find any solution |
As @Darcidride pointed out this cannot be fixed until everything is sorted out regarding databases. Considering that I am quite busy, and Darcidride as well, and I don't think anyone has time to work on debugging things, we won't be able to fix it quickly enough. @Darcidride Could we consider rebooting MFF for a third version? You can back the corrupted data up and start with a clean slate, so the server can at least function. We can discuss importing old data later (I've fixed my IRC client, and while I'm still busy I can peek in from time to time) |
@LeMagnesium Yes we can discuss that on IRC to have a more proactive approach, but I've so many channels in my IRC client that I can't follow them all, don't hesitate to highlight (or PM me) on IRC if needed |
Actually, my infrastructure for IRC went down and I have no time to put it in place again. We'll have to do with GitHub for now.. |
Following the recent lastseen/auth mess-up, it seems everyone's privileges were reset (along, probably, with passwords), but when they were granted back we all received "fly" and "fast" as well.
The cause must be isolated and fixed and we must check once more that authentication data is maintained between executions.
