This page displays general information about the mod and how to use it.
Unlike most other crafting mods, AutoCraft does not have a list of items you have to choose from in order to craft. Instead, it lets you store a recipe temporarily if it is valid and then allows you to quickly craft it when you press a key, therefore still requiring crafting recipe knowledge and only automating the tedious process of moving items to the crafting matrix.
###General Crafting Open your inventory or a crafting table like you would normally when crafting an item. Put the materials in the crafting grid as if you were crafting the item, but don't take the item out of the result slot! Once you have the recipe ready, press SHIFT + ENTER to store the recipe. Then, simply press and hold ENTER to continue crafting the item. If your materials run out, you can grab some more from your storage and continue using ENTER to craft the same item without having to store the recipe again.
The recipes for your inventory and crafting table are stored separately, so you can have two recipes stored at the same time. For example, if you're autocrafting repeaters while in the crafting table but run out of redstone torches, you can open your inventory, store and autocraft some redstone torches, and then open the crafting table to continue crafting repeaters without having to re-store its recipe.
###Tool Repairing Note: The repairing algorithm is not optimal as of right now. Don't use if you want to save resources!
AutoCraft also lets you repair durability of items such as tools and armor using Minecraft's default combining of the items in the crafting grid. Currently, only the inventory autocrafting supports durability repairing. Simply put two of the broken items in your inventory crafting grid like you would normally do when combining them, SHIFT + ENTER to store, then hold ENTER and watch as all the other items get combined too.
###Click Delay Adjustment You can specify the delay in ticks between crafting click operations using /autocraft delay <number>. It must be 0 or a positive integer. Recommended value is 0 for singleplayer and servers that allow fastclick, in order to have the fastest crafting possible. For multiplayer servers that disallow fastclick (e.g. through NoCheatPlus), a delay of 2 may be good to start from, but you should adjust it accordingly since different servers can have different settings.
