Essential / New features needed for Outline Client and Server

What would you like the app to enable you to do?

The protocol currently supported by Outline is Shadowsocks without any transport. This other protocol is old and is easily identified and blocked in many countries such as China and Iran. Outline should quickly add new protocols such as (VMESS / VLESS / TROJAN) along with support for transports such as (TCP / WS / GRPC) to the client and server. This is a necessary action for many users in the world.

• Support transports such as TCP / WS / GRPC - TLS / XTLS outline-server#1440
• Ability to set different protocols and transports for each access key (included in ability to use additional protocols)
• Ability to install free universal SSL on the server with one button or custom SSL for have TLS or XTLS connection (included in https://github.com/Jigsaw-Code/outline-server#1440)
• Ability to set the maximum usable bandwidth for each access key
• Ability to set the expiration time for each access key
• Ability to set the maximum number of connections or maximum number of devices that can be used for each access key
• Ability to change and revoke the access key to disconnect unwanted users #1853
• Ability to disable / enable the access key #1852
• Ability to backup and restore server information and access keys

January 17, 2023:

• Ability to set separate ports for non-secure access keys and TLS or XTLS access keys (included in https://github.com/Jigsaw-Code/outline-server#1440)
• Update and synchronize API with new features

January 27, 2023:

• Ability to exclude IP and application in the client (Android / iOS)

July 07, 2023:

• Ability to Limiting the number of IPs connected to each access key

The way that this would be most helpful to us is if you would break each request into its own separate GitHub issue, rather than list them all together as they are here. Many of your requests also already have GitHub issues, so you can skip creating new ones for those, so that we avoid duplication. Do you mind creating new issues for each request that isn't already in the system? Thanks for your help!

Yes, some items may have already been requested by users. The point is that these are not problems. These are some of the features that need to be added to Outline as soon as possible so that it can still compete with its competitors. Shadowsocks is no longer the standard protocol for bypassing restrictions and is deprecated. In this issue, we tried to list all the features and capabilities in one place to make it easier for developers.
We always appreciate the efforts of the team and hope that we can help to improve it.

Can you say more about "Update and synchronize API with new features" please? What new features are you referring to?
