GUI freezes in Safari when run consecutively #5

In Safari on OS X if I run the assembly once, change a parameter and rerun, the GUI freezes and starts using 100% CPU requiring me to close the browser window. If I comment out inclusion of the plots from app.py in lines 148-150 and 315 it works. However, in Chrome it works perfectly fine. @dykesk do you have any issues on Windows?
