Choice of methane mechanism #1

The principle is to use a mechanism that is as simple as we can. Since the model uncertainties and the sensor data uncertainties are usually non-negligible, there is no need to employ a very detailed model for practical applications.

Here are some choices of mechanism:

  • GRI 3.0
  • GRI 3.0 skeletal by Prof. Tianfeng Lu and we can exclude the NO chemistry
  • ARM 12
