[Feature request] Activate long-press for german layout #285
Comments
What about the German broad+ keyboard if you need to frequently enter è, ä etc? |
@IronJunkie It doesn't have the umlauts, so I always have to long-press when I need ä,ö and ü. I personally don't like that, that why I prefer the other layout that has all the letters. But thanks for the suggestion! |
oh, OK, now i see what you mean. So ideally you want the broad+ keyboard with the Umlaute keys. |
Yes, exactly! |
Or like the Swedish/Finnish layout. That one also has both umlauts and long-press for characters that are not part of their alphabet. |

The german keyboard layout does only support long-press on e to create €. That means that there is no way to create non-german letters, such as é, å, ø and all the others that appear in the english layout on long-press.
